Show Beulah Bradley Is New Cadmus Club President Cadmus Club met on Monday night at the home of Mrs. Ertman Christensen to elect their new officers of-ficers for the coming year. President Presi-dent Carol Jaynes presided and announced the Federated Women's Wom-en's club convention to be held in the Timpanogos Stake House on April 17. The three Federated clubs in Pleasant Grove will act as hostesses. The theme of the convention con-vention this year is "The Home We live in means America to me." Mrs. Ora Thome offered prayer to open the meeting. Elected to new offices in the club were Mrs. Beulah Bradley, president, Mrs. Maymetta Johnson, John-son, vice president; Mrs. Faye Bel-liston, Bel-liston, recording secretary; Mrs. Lurena Warnick, corresponding secretary; Mrs. Winnifred Adam-son, Adam-son, treasurer; and the Education committee, Mrs. Afton Miller, chairman, Mrs. Lucille Hillman and Miss Margaret Hayes. Delicious refreshments were served ser-ved by the hostess assisted by her daughters, Mrs. Dale Thomas and Miss Corine Partridge. The next meeting will be on March 22 at the home of Mrs. Ida Brimhall. Miss Estelle Fenton -will speak on "Spiritual America." Each club member is to bring a guest. |
