Addressing some 25 dealers at the Alpine Villa Cafe, D. L. Holt, Utah Power & Light Co., Residential Residen-tial and Farm Director, stressed population growth in 'the firm's market area in Utah, 47.6 per cent by 1975 as a factor increasing sales potential. "It is estimated," he said, "ithat the industrial production here will rise approximately 30 per cent between now and 1965. Yet the available manpower for industrial indus-trial plants will rise only 14 per cent. Automation must therefore fill the gap." Mr. Holt also told dealers to acquaint ac-quaint the public with adequate wiring in home and on the farm for present arid future needs so that residential and farm customers custom-ers can used new electrical equipment equip-ment being made available such as the electric heat pump for year around' heating 'and cooling.
