Show Beet Bulls to Be Graded Monday ! County Agent Says Pall grading of beef bulls for cattlemen of Utah County will be done on Monday, Oct. 14, according accord-ing to John J. Barnard, Utah County Coun-ty Agricultural Agent. This grading grad-ing is a service offered to cattle- men each spring and fall through ' the County Extension Service at the request of State and local cattle associations. Quality of beef cattle in Utah has been improved greatly by use j of good bulls and grading of bulls is merely a service given to cattle I men to hetlp them tn their selection selec-tion of good breeding stock. Major George Henderson, Extension Exten-sion Livestock Specialist from the Utah State University at Logan will be here to do the grading. Major Henderson is recognized as one of the outstanding judges of beef cattle in the area and cattleman are fortunate to have his judgment to help them. Letters were sent to all cattle associations of -the county and to purebred beef cattle owners Sept. 19 Informing them of the fall grading. If cattle owners have bulls to grade and have not notified the County Agents, they should do so immediately, as the next grading tour will be in the spring of 1958. |
