Show Beaver Association Meeting Attended By Local People The extent of how fast the fur industry is growing in this part of the country was evidenced on Oct. 3 at the first annual meeting and banquet of Weaver Beaver Assn., at the Lafayette Ballroom, Hotel Utah, where lamong the speakers were Senator A. V. Watkins, Mark Weaver, president of the association, assoc-iation, and executive secretary Forace Green, who reported on the fur market and fur conditions in general. Boyd Fugal offered Che prayer. The Lyle Bradford chorus, directed direc-ted by Don Weaver, furnished musical mu-sical numbers with special numbers num-bers by Don, Ted, and Van Weaver Weav-er and their sister, Betty Milligan. Big feature of the program was the elaborate fur show, including the finest furs obtainable in beaver, beav-er, mink, ermine, etc. Among local people ait the banquet ban-quet were Messrs and Mesdames Keith Jacobs, J. L. Thome, Stan Ekins, Boyd Fugal, T. M. Thomson, Thom-son, John Fugal, Wallace Saling, Jean Fugal, Harvey Smith, Verlyn Olson, David Smith, LeGrand Er-oanbrack, Er-oanbrack, Elvin Carson, Karl Butler, But-ler, William C. Smith, Joseph Christianson, Verl Christianson, A. B. Gibson, Mrs. Lavina Fugal and Mrs. Carl Smith. |
