Show Saturday Deadline Set for Dairy Princess Entries Saturday, May 25 is the deadline for entiles in the Dairy Princess Contest, according to Mr. and Mrs. Merrill N. Warnick, County co-chairmen co-chairmen for the dairy princess oontest. Applications are available to contestants from the following to contestants from Mr. and Mrs. Warnick, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Black-hurst, Black-hurst, committee members or the County Extension Service, Room 107, City and County Building, Provo. The County Princess, will be selected sel-ected iat the annual Utah County Dairy Day, June 3 at Saratoga Resort. The judging will begin at 10 a.m. at Saratoga. Activities for eveiyone will also begin at 10 a.m. and continue through the afternoon after-noon program at which time the Dairy Princess will be announced. The days activities will end at 3:30 and eveiyone in Utah County who is interested in dairying is invited. The County Dairy Princess and her two attendants will be featured fea-tured in June Dairy month activities activ-ities as well as other dairy features fea-tures throughout the year. They will also participate in many other celebrations throughout the county. The Princess will receive an expense ex-pense paid trip to the State contest con-test in Salt Lake City, Sept. 6 and will be featured in 'the October Cheese Carnival. The state winner gets an expense ex-pense paid trip to Chicago to the National contest. The National winner receives a $1000 scholarship scholar-ship and expense paid yea rof travel tra-vel representing 'the dairy industry and also a complete wardrobe. |
