Show Grove Word Blazers Hold Party Recently Blazer boys of the Grove Ward under the supervision of rtheir teachers, tea-chers, Evelyn Sohoonoveir and Eb-erlie Eb-erlie Smith, recently planned and guv a party An hloiraor of their mothers. Mrs. Vella Liston, stake Blazer leadier, was also a 'guest. Mrs. Smith announced the program. pro-gram. Gloria Sely, choral director assisted with the group singing. Opening prayer was given by Earl Green. The boys then introduced intro-duced their mothers. A welcome p:em was recited by Paul Schoon-over. Schoon-over. Lynn Armitstead lead the boys in their salute .and code. Articles of Faith were given by Danny Peck, ,Dale Fannsworth, Cameron Adams and Kenneth Jarvis. Leon Carter, Robert Oscarson, Jerry Randall, Jeffrey Fox, Kelly Giles and Lynn Jorgensen spoke briefly on the meaning' of the Blazer emblem. Explanation of the four trails was given by Ted Freeman. Steven ' West, Ed Taylor, Games and 'serving' of refreshments refresh-ments -completed the program. Mothers 'attending were Mrs. Ar-die Ar-die Adams, Mrs. Lloyd Armitstead, Mrs. Alvin Famsworth, Mi's. Vern Fox, Mrs. Elwoioid Freeman, Mrs. Bill Hunter, Mrs. Eug-ene Jarvis, Mi's. Robert Oscarson, Mrs. Willis Randall, Mrs. Eldon Schoonover, Mrs.' Ed Taylor, Mrs. Dale West, and Stevens grandmother, Mrs. AJ-roy AJ-roy West, Salt Lake City. |
