The new Fords, which will be shown to the public Friday (September 23) incorporate five safety features in a "lifeguard design" intended to reduce chances of accidental acci-dental injury. Safety door latches (lower left) will resist crash impact, and help keep passengers inside the car where they are twice as safe, according to research figures. Mirrors have a special backing to help prevent shattering. shat-tering.
