Show Robbery Attempts Cleared Up with Youths Capture Three recent robberies or attempts at-tempts in Pleasant Grove and three in American Fork were cleared up late last week by the apprehension of a 17-year old American Am-erican Fork youth in Vernal, Utah. Police officers of American Fork were tipped off that the youth had reportedly taken his father"s car and driven it to Vernal. Since he was under suspicion of being connected with the two-town robberies, officers Boyd Durrant and Joe Mecham made the trip to Vernal and lock the suspect into custody. Upon arrest, the youthful bandit ban-dit reportedly confessed to all six incidents. The robberies and attempts, at-tempts, all committeed over a period per-iod of a few days, involved the following: Wright's Produce Company, Smith's Market and Toby's in Pleasant Grove and two schools and the Preston Market in American, Amer-ican, Fork. |
