Show Laurene Smith Honored at Trousseau Tea No detail was overlooked to make the trousseau tea honoring Miss Laurene Smith one of the very nice social events of the late autumn. The affair, tendered by the bride-to-be's mother, Mrs. Ernest Er-nest P. Smith, was held in the Second-Fourth Ward Relief Society Soc-iety Hall, which was tastefully decorated dec-orated for the occasion. The bride and her mother were assisted in receiving by Mrs. Reed O. Walker, mother of the bridegroom bride-groom elect. Arranging and displaying dis-playing the lovely trousseau were Mrs. Guy S. Hillman, Mrs. Lucille Hillman and Mrs. Gerald Bellis-ton. Bellis-ton. The bride-to-be's aunt, Mrs. Jeanne Allredge and Mrs. Barbara Baxter handled the refreshments. They were assisted by Jean and Nancy Hillman, Kathy Belliston, Anne and Coralee Smith, Veloy and Ardith Walker. Laurel Baxter received re-ceived shower gifts and Mary Lee Thomas registered guests. |
