Show f. - . . L ' ' ( ' : :: u - - 50 YEARS Mr. and Mrs. George Monson, married 50 years. George Monsons to Be Honored At Open House in Lehi on Sunday Afternoon, December 8 Mr. and Mrs. George A. Monson Mon-son will celebrate their 50 years of marriage on Sunday, Dec. 8. They were married the 11th day of December, 1907 in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Monson is the son of Swen Monson and Hannah S. Monson. He was born June 5, 1884 at Pro-vo, Pro-vo, Utah and moved to Pleasant Grove with his parents when he was two years of age. Mrs. Monson was the daughter of Chauncey Edwin and Mary Far-rer Far-rer Thomas and was born Dec. 10, 1884 at Provo. In 1903 she moved with her parents to Pleasant Grove in the Manila Ward. Both Mr. and Mrs. Monson have been active in church and civic affairs in Manila where they have lived all their married life. Working Work-ing in the different organizations, they now are members of the Genealogy Gen-ealogy Committee. They are the parents of five children, four of whom are living, Elwood and Robert T. of Manila; Mrs. Elden (Helen) Clark of Lehi; Le-hi; Mrs. Emery (Maurine) Andrews An-drews of Alpine. They have 12 grandchildren. Openhouse will honor them at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Elden Clark, on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 2 to 5 p.m., 362 South First West, Lehi. (2 blocks south of Lehi Bank). All relatives and friends are welcome wel-come to call. The family requests no gifts. |
