Show "Birthday Penny Appeal" Is Sponsored By Stake Primary With the coming of February, comes the annual "Birthday Penny Pen-ny Appeal" for the Primary Children's Child-ren's Hospital, Mrs. Vivian Evans, Timpanogos Stake Primary Superintendent Sup-erintendent announced. In the past week many of our people have traveled to Salt Lake City to visit the new million-and a-quarter dollar building just completed, com-pleted, "The Hospital that Pennies Built." From a humble beginning, years ago, this project has grown to its present size through the efforts ef-forts of Primary members and friends, Mrs. Evans stated. During February, Primary officers offi-cers and members, throughout the church, are conducting the annual campaign for funds to help support sup-port the operation of the hospitl. Envelopes for the collection of the 1952 fund have been distributed by the Primary children of this stake and during the week of February 11 to 16 Primary teachers will call at your home for contributions, contribut-ions, she said. Contributors are asked to give one penny for each birthday of every member of the family and then a few extra pennies for health. Everyone who participates in the ''Penny Appeal" will be assisting assist-ing to bring health and happiness to crippled children, Mrs. Evans concluded. |
