Show Washington Plans U.N. Day Observance The Army Corps of Engineers has completed 90 per cent of the 1951 program to rehabilitate Army posts, camps and stations. Housing and training facilities for more than 675,-000 675,-000 officers and men have been occupied oc-cupied or are ready for occupancy. Upon completion of the SI 13. 000,-000 000,-000 program early in 1952, troop facilities f-- 745.000 men will have been rehabilitated. contingent now fighting as part of the United Nations forces in Korea will be flown to Washington, D. C, to participate in the observance of United Nations Day on October 24. Following the ceremonies in Washington, Wash-ington, the group will be divided into in-to two parties. One will make a tour of Southern states, the other of Northern states, and both groups will meet in San Francisco on Thanksgiving Day, prior to their return to Korea. |
