Show LOCAL NEWS ! Mr and Mrs. Barney Hilton and family and Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Richins and children of Salt Lake City, and Miss Tatty Pupe of Independence, M., were guests at the J. C. Hilton home on Saturday evening. Mr and Mrs. Don Stewart and Mrs. Ellon Hebertson have returned return-ed from a weeks vacation trip to San Francisco. Enroute they vised vis-ed Lehman's Cave, Ruth Copper Pit, Carson City, Petrified Forest, and returned home by way of Reno, Tooele, and Grantsville. The Archie Boren family enjoyed enjoy-ed a very delightful canyon party at the little Mill Camp in American Am-erican Folk canyon on Tuesday e-vening. e-vening. The affair honored the birthday anniversaries of LaVell Boren and Anna Boren Adamson, All 18 members of the family were present to enjoy tiie chicken I picnic supper and relax in the cool canyon breeze. In compliment to the birthday anniversary of Keith Jacobs, and also the wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs. Keith Jacobs, iney entertained a few friends at their home on Sunday evening. They were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wagstaff and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Godding of American Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Jense, and Mr. and Mrs. Scotty Turner, A few days ago Neldon Lim happened to be at the state capitol grounds during lunch hour, and witnessed some of the employees pitching horseshoes. Among the group was Carlisle Larson, finance finan-ce dept. employee, and son of Mr and Mrs. George Larson of Plesaant Grove, Carisle was one of the top-notch horseshoe pitchers and amazed Neldon with his ability to land a ringer with seemingly seem-ingly no effort at all. Neldon says that Pleasant Grove has produced top-men in all fields, but this is the first time he knew P. G. has produced a top-notch horseshoe pitcher. |
