OCR Text	Show LOCAL NEWS Mrs. Karl Butler on Thursday evening entertained at a nicely arranged dinner complimenting the anniversary of the birth of her husband and also that of her mother, Mrs. William C. Smith. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Butler and their two children. Richard Bezzant was the center cen-ter of a very pleasant surprise party Wednesday evening when close neighbors gathered ' at his home in compliment to his birthday birth-day anniversary. Bingo with prizes for everyone formed the evening's fun, and was followed by tasty refreshments. re-freshments. Enjoying the affair were Mr. and Mrs. Bezzant, Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Baxter, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Farnsworth, and Mr. and Mrs. John Fugal.
