Show The past week at the PGH.S has been a very busy one for all classes as there have been many elections taking place. The Junior High School held their final Junior High officer election el-ection Friday, Octobet- 2. The students stu-dents elected to the offices are: President, Hal Lewis; Vice President, Pres-ident, Deanna Wadley; Secretary, Gene Richards. The girls in both Junior and Senior Sen-ior high held the first Big Sister, Little Sister assembly Monday, October 5. The purpose of the assembly as-sembly was to select the officers for the coming year. Those selected were: President, Jeannine Johnson; Vice President, Pat Keetch; Secretary, Secre-tary, Glenda Kocherhans; Program Chairman, Yoskoe Nishitani. Four girls representing the Big Sister, Little .Sister program will attend a girl's breakfast at the Hot Shoppe in Salt Lake City, Friday morning, October 7 at 7 a.m. This breakfast will' concern a discussion on "Girl's Problems." The Deans of Women in the State of Utah will be in charge. At a class meeting Tuesday, October 6, the Senior class held a meeting to select th officers for the coming Hop. They are as follows: fol-lows: Hop Co-Chairmen: Betty Moyle and Vance West; Dance directors, Margel Hamilton and Owen Ash; assembly co-chairmen, Tom Clark and David Richards; program co-chairmen, co-chairmen, Betty Holman and Agnes Ag-nes Urie; publicity chairman, Dean Powell; finance chairman, Sally Saling. The final date set 'for the Hop is November 13. The theme will- be Autumn Nocturne. Tryouts for the school play were held Tuesday, October 6 at 3:30 The name of the play will be "Turn Back the Clock." Class pictures for the yearbook of 1953-54 have been taken. Subscriptions Sub-scriptions for the yearbook went on sale Monday, October 5. |
