Show 4-H Club Notes T. X. T. CIAB The T. N. T. second year sewing sew-ing club held their tenth meeting of the summer on Tuesday, August Aug-ust 9th at the home of Mrs. Dar-rell Dar-rell Yancey. Agnes Urie led the group in singing and a health talk was given by Mrs. Yancey. The girls then worked on their dresses in preparation for the annual an-nual exhibit day. Refreshments were served by Renae Johnson and Shirley Yancey. Yan-cey. 4-H MEET 4-H club girls of Pleeasant Grovee, Manila, and Lindon met at Pleasant Grove for an afternoon of judging and demonstrations. Mrs. Florence Gillman of Lindon took charge of the meeting. Jean Pulley gave the opening prayer. After the group singing, demonstrations demon-strations were presented by Kathleen Kath-leen Allen and Edith Ann Thayne on How to Prepare a Packed Lunch. Raspberries, beans, muffins and darns and dresses were judged. High scores were won by Rosalie Richards, Connie Newman, Iris Meeks, Agnes Urie, Shirley Yancey, Yan-cey, Annette Ahlstrom from Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove; Sandra Morrill, Judy Ann Warnick, Jean LaRae Pulley, Pull-ey, Carol Rose Pulley, Lurena Warnick, leader, VeLoy Warnick, from Manila and Mrs. Florence O. Gdllman, leader from Lindon. SEWETTES The Sewettes meeting on July 27 was brought to order by Iris Meeks. They discussed patterns and measured for their dresses. All were present. Light refreshments' refresh-ments' were served. On August 3rd the girls met at the home of their leader, Mrs. Meeks. Gwen Beck brought the meeting to order.
