Show LOCAL NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Grant. Atwood and I son Roy Dean have returned to I their home in Los Angeles after visiting ten days with their parents par-ents and grandparents. Mr. and I Mrs. L. M. Atwood and other rel-1 atives. They timed their vacation to attend the Warnick family re-1 union. Mrs. Brigham Van Wagoner and children Dixon and Elena left Tuesday for their home in Bakers-field, Bakers-field, Calif., after a six weeks visit vis-it with Mr. and Mrs. William Blackwell. Mrs. Blackwell accompanied accom-panied her daughter and grandchildren grand-children as far as Salt Lake City and saw them safely aboard the streamliner. I A happy get-to-gether was enjoyed en-joyed by little Kathryn Jackson on her third birthday, August 9. She and her little friends played games and a nice lunch was served ser-ved at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Jackson. She received many nice gifts. Those present were Tommy Nielson, Kenneth Ken-neth Neilson, Milton Fugal, Linda Nielson, Charlotte Judd, Vaughn Strong. Judy Carls- SanJri Huntsman. Mrs. George Harris, Mrs. Bob Jacques and Miss Barbara Jacques have returned from Denver, Colo where they visited with Mrs. Harris' Har-ris' son. Elder Warren Harris. Elder El-der Harris is laboring in the LDS mission field at Shenandoah, Iowa and came to Denver to attend conference. con-ference. There he met his mother and other local friends. The Utahns also visited with Mr. and Mrs. ' Reed Warnick and family in Denver. |
