Show Local News Mr. and Mrs. Howard Peterson of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Edna P. Peterson of Santa Rosa, California were called here this week due to the seriou illness of their father, J. C. Peterson. Mr. Peterson is gravely ill at the home of his daughter, and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Robertson. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ball on Sunday were Mrs. Ball's son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dora Pierce and Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Peterson, all of Park City. Mr. Pierce, much improved in health, was returning to his home after receiving medical care at an Ogden hospital. Dinner guests of Mr. and .Mrs. Viron Washburn Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Washburn and Leola Brown of Monroe, Mrs. Betty Davis and son Terry of Venice, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Washburn and family of Salt Lake City. President and Mrs. Merrill N. Warnick . entertained conference visitors and other guests at dinner on Sunday with covers laid for Elder El-der and Mrs.' Stephen L. Richards, Elder Clifford E. Young, President and Mrs. Lewis .Olpin, President and Mrs. Vilace Radmall, Mr. and Mrs. E, Ray Brown, Miss Effie Warnick: and the host and hostess. The Special Interest group of the Third ward enjoyed a lovely party Friday evening at the Viron Washburn Wash-burn home. The occasion was in honor of their class leader, Mrs. Dora Rees whose birthday was on that day. Progressive games were played and tasty refreshments were enjoyed by the following, May Jacob, Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Huish, Edna Holdaway, Ruby Fugal, Norma Bronson, Maxine Fugal, Jennie Fugal, Ella Radmall, Elizabeth Eliz-abeth Crystal, Margaret Holdaway Marjorie Holdaway, Luana White, I Mrs. Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Washburn Wash-burn and Mrs. Rees. Mrs! Rees received some lovely birthday gifts and wishes including a large birthday birth-day cake. |
