Show Local News Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brown and Mrs. Cora Bjork and daughter of Los Angeles, spent the weekend with Mrs. Lerena Neilson and visited vis-ited other relatives. On Sunday Curtis Larson and daughter Betty of Ogden visited with Mrs. Lerena Neilson. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Rogers have received word of their son-in-law, C. H. PJioades has been made manager man-ager of the Trinidad, Colorado, branch of the Singer Sewing Machine Mach-ine Co., and will with his wife, the former Anna Lu Rogers and two children move from their home in Ft. Collins Colo., to Trin-dad. Trin-dad. Among local people who attended attend-ed the preview of Hamlet at the Uinta Theatre in Provo this week, were Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hillman, Mrs. A. J. Rogers, Miss Estelle Fenton, Mrs. S. C. Jackson, Mrs. Lacy White and Mrs. Beulah Bradley. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Theobald and Mrs. Ada Richards of Salt Lake City, spent Saturday afternoon and Sunday with their daughter and sister, Mrs. May R. Walker and other relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Tim Richards motored down from the capital city on Sunday and drove the visiting party back to their homes. ' Mrs. L. S. Walker and her daughter Mrs. Letha Hanson and children, Miss Burdene Walker and Mrs. Helen Walker and children visited in Salt Lake City on Monday Mon-day with Piatt and Madge Walker Tucker and family. Guides and Seagulls of the Grove ward primary enjoyed a very jolly pot luck party given Monday evening by their leaders, Mrs. Leatha Carson and Mrs. Doris Neilson at the Carson home. 14 boys and girls were present. In connection with the gayety the group passed all requirements for graduation and rehearsed their parts for the primary conference to be held soon. American Legion auxiliary from the north end of the fourth district including, Provb, Orem, Pleasant Grove, American Fork and Lehi, took a program and refreshments of ice cream and cake to the Veterans Vet-erans hospital in Salt Lake City on Wednesday evening. The program pro-gram were numbers from the BYU. Local members attending . were Mrs. . L. P. Harvey, - district president, pres-ident, who was in charge, Mr. and Mrs; Millen D. Radmall, Mrs. Karl Banks, department president and Mrs. Ida Pierson. |
