Show Local Girl Wins 4-H Award At Portland Exposition Sixteen Utah 4-H club girls won blue ribbon awards on their home economic entries in the Pacific International In-ternational Livestock Exposition, held recently in'Portland, Oregon according to Jenniev J. Poulson, Home Demonstration agent. Several other Utah 4-H girls received re-ceived red or green ribbon awards On their entries in the northwest show. Blue is first, red is second and green third. "Of interest to local people is the blue ribbon award won by Nancy Warnick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill N. Warnick. Other Utah county award winners were Ila Strasburg, blue ribbon. Twenty-three Utah 4-H Home Economics exhibits were entered, including wash school dresses, tailored tail-ored dresses, woolen suits with lined jackets, best dresses, canned fruits, canned vegetables and canned can-ned meat. |
