Show Golden Wedding Celebrated By Swen Andersons Mr. and Mrs. Swen O. Anderson long time residents of the Third ward observed their 50th wedding anniversary on October 19. In observance of the event, the couple were honored at a turkey dinner on Saturday at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Lela Anderson in Salt Lake City. Lovely late summer flowers, mustly sent by friends, were used profusely through the rooms. A large wedding cake, decorated dec-orated with pale yellow roses and and golden leaves centered the table where covers were laid for the honored guests and William and Olive Anderson Heckman and children, Joye, Mary, Dick and Wyona of Providence, Utah; Mrs. Carrie Lundell. Mrs. Ella Lundell, Mrs. Bertha Caldwell. Mrs. Sigrid Youngberg. Mrs. Selma Gunnell, Miss Hattie Lee, Mrs. Douglas Marnier, the host and hostess and their children Lynn and Kathleen. Two daughters, Mrs. Lavetta A. Slade of Red Mesa. Colorado and Mrs. Eva A. Fowler of Breen, Colorado and their families were unable to be present. |
