Show Local News Mr. and Mrs. A.. J. Rogers spent Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Davis of Orem. Kenneth Rogers spent last week end in Grand Junction Colorado, visiting relatives and friends. Among those who on Tuesday visited the state fair, saw the parade, par-ade, and later heard President Truman were Mr. and Mrs. William Will-iam Blackwell and Alfred Dexter. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Farr of this city with Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Farr and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Morgan Mor-gan of Provo on Friday evening attended the wedding of their cousin, Mardene Stewart. Mayor and Mrs. Harvey Smith are rejoicing over the arrival of their first daughter. The little lady arrived Sunday morning. Waiting to welcome her home is a brother. Craig. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Turley of! Snowflake. Arizona were over-i night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Will-1 iam Smith from Wednesday to Thursday. The Turley's. close friends of the Smith's came to U-tah U-tah to bring their two daughters to Provo where they will enter the BYU. On Thursday the visitors left to visit Mrs. Turley's sister in Idaho. |
