Show Grove Ward Gleaners Will Bind Sheaf Sunday Next Sunday evening in the Grove ward sacrament meeting the Gleaners of the ward will bind their sheaf. After the sacrament services at 5:30 the girls will begin their program with a welcome talk by their leader, Beatha Carson. The Sheaf binding ceremnoy wdll be conducted by the girls with Xylophone accompaniment by Jean Fugal Binding the sheaf, with fitting remarks by Gleaner president Martha Mar-tha Ann Mills, passing it through the hands of the YWMIA president Eva Orton to Bishop H. S. Walker. Presentation of the Scroll will be made by Afton Miller, stake president pres-ident of YWMIA. "Sing Glad 'Heart" will be sung by gleaners, accompanied by Byr-avine Byr-avine Grant. The following talks win - be given, with jl elude and postlude violin music by Georgia Lee Bullock accompanied by Betty Page. "I Shall Bring a Pure Heart" by Carole Walker; "I Shall Bring a Clean Body" by Virginia Shane; "I Shall Brifig an Honest Mind" by Carol Dawn Miller; "I Shall Bring a Humble Obedient Spirit" by Shirley Hall. "Gleaner of the Latterday" by Ruth Hilton and Betty Oscarson. A vocal solo, "The Holy City" by Shirley Roland. Remarks will be given by President Pres-ident Merrill N. Warnick, the closing clo-sing song "My Testimony" by the gleaners and benediction will be pronounced by Pearl Gourley. |
