Show Local Mows Mr. and Mrs. Janes Simper of Logan were weekend guests of Mr. Simper's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Simper. Lloyd and Dawna May Boren are happy over the arrival of a baby daughter at the Lehi hospital on October 31. Both are doing nicely. A baby girl gladdened the home of Russell T. and Beth Paishton Green of American Fork Wednesday Wednes-day morning. Mrs. Maude Green of this city is the proud grandmother. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Simper entertained guests at dinner din-ner with covers laid for Mrs. Dan Carol and daughter Maxine of Vernal. Ver-nal. Mr. and Mrs. James Simper of Logan. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Simper Sim-per and the host and hostess and their family. - i A. P. Warnick, president of the Utah High School Athletic Association, Assoc-iation, spent Tuesday in Salt Lake City, where his met with the Utah State. High School activity committee com-mittee to discuss and formulate plans for the finals of the state football tournament. ' The Variety Club enjoyed a very pleasant gathering one evening las week with Mrs. Mary Harper. The tasty luncheon was followed by table games where Ruby Warnick, Ora Boren, Eva Orton and Nina Hunter carried off the prizes. Others Oth-ers present included Ida Halliday, Wanda Blackhurst, Letha Carson Hazel Bullock and thehostess. |
