Show IModernette Club Holds Halloween Costume Party The Modern Club held a costume party at the George McNees' one evening last week. The young matrons mat-rons club entertained their husbands hus-bands in the Garage of the McNees home and it was gaily decorated with symbols and signs of Halloween. Hallo-ween. Prizes were given for the best costume, and B. Cobbley won first prize for his clever costume, barely winning over Ford West who came in second. The evenings entertainment was a scavenger hunt, and was followed by a luncheon at which chili was the main feature. Committee in charge of arrangements arrange-ments for the delightful affair were Mrs. George McNees and Mrs. Ray Beers. Other young matrons and their husbands who were present were Mrs. Keith Jacobs, Mrs. Glen Noble, Mrs. Myron Jense. Mrs. B. Cobbley, Mrs. Jack Pace. Mrs. Ford i West, Mrs. Don Walker, and Mrs. Harris Chipman. |
