Show PARENTS ENTERTAIN FOR NF.WLY WEDS ON MONDAY EVENING Tlie Second ward recreation hall presented a gay and colorful scene Monday evening, when Mr. I and Mrs. Archie W Greene, entertained en-tertained at a well-arranged wedding wed-ding reception honoring their (laughter Betty and Albert Cecil Nuttall, who were married Kept. I 12, in tlie L. D, S, Temple at Card-slon. Card-slon. Alberta, Canada Iirge baskets of gorgeous gladiolus glad-iolus were used throughout the hall, where the bridal party received rece-ived the guests In the receiving line were Hie bride's parents, the groom's mother, Mrs Wm A Nut-tall, Nut-tall, bride and groom, matron of honor. Mrs, Margaret Kicholes, and Miss Donna Greene, Miss Doris Greene and Mrs. Donald Finlayson, i.'.cs m'.ic'.-.. Bruce Wen'.. Hood as best man. The bride looked charming in a gown of traditional white .satin entrain, a fingertip veil and carried car-ried a bridal bouquet of Gladiola tied with white satin streamers Miss Doris Greene wore a black formal, Miss Donna Greene was clad In blue, while Mrs. Finlayson chose blue with silver trimmings. Mrs. Nicholes wore a yellow skirt attached to a velvet bodice. Mrs, Green wore pale blue net and lace, while Mrs. Nuttall chose a gown of purple velvet. All wore corsages of Gladiolus. Ford M. Paulson was master of ceremonies and'" conducted the following fol-lowing program: vocal solo, Sunshine Sun-shine of Your Smile, Warren Kirk, accompanied by Mrs Kirk; Toast to the Bride, by Martha Peterson; Piano solo, Deep Purple. Miss Carol Clark; humorous reading Miss Carol Christianson; piano solo, Miss JoAnn Nuttall; two vocal trios, Lieberstramm and Till le End of Time, Mrs Russell Green, Mrs. Vernon GardineT, and Mrs. Jack Cook. They were accompanied by Miss Irene Shelley; a reading by George Paul. Daning and refreshments completed com-pleted the evenings entertainment. In charge of refreshments were Mrs. David Walker, Mrs Edwin Mart and Mrs. Perry Jensen Assisting As-sisting serving were Misses Alice Yancey. Naomi tLitnceford, Dolly McCandlass, Larue McCandlass, Lela Green and Alta Mae Jensen. Presiding over the wonderful gift display were Mrs. Bryant Hicks, and Mrs. Austin Moyle. They were assisted by Shirley Greene, Lynell Johnson, 'JoAnn Nuttall, Mary Ann Moyle. The popular young couple were accompanied on their trip to Card-ston. Card-ston. by Mr. and Mrs. Donald Finlayson. Fin-layson. They will make their home in Provo where Mr. Nuttall is connected con-nected with the Nuttall Dairy Farms. |
