Mr. and Mrs. Scott Benson of Salt Lake City were Sunday guests of Jesse Peterson and ' Mr. and Mrs. Dan Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. John L. Atwood of Salt Lake City were visiting relatives rela-tives and friends here on Strawberry Straw-berry day. Kent and Goddon Smith of Mc-Gill, Mc-Gill, Nev., are visting here with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Atwood. A pleasant supper party was enjoyed Tuesday evening in Ameri can Fork canyon by Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Fenton, Mr. and Mrs. Roy S. Merrill, Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Wallace of this city, and Miss Bertha Maughn of Wellsville. Fred C. Shoell returned to his home here Saturday after spend ing a month in the L D S hospital following a major operation. H. C. Robertson spent Wednesday Wednes-day in Salt Lake City on business. Miss Muriel Hone returned to her work at Sun Valley, Idaho on Sunday after spending three weeks here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hone and other rela tives. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Pierce and baby of California arrived early this week to visit Mr. Pierce's mother, Mrs. Ed. Ball and other relatives. After a 10-day visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Shoell and other elatives, Richard Shoell has returned to his duties at Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, where he is stationed sta-tioned with the U. S. coast ar tillery. Miss Lucile Halliday left early this week for Bountiful where she will spend some time with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Fage and children. Mrs. Hugh Jacobs of Heber spent several days last week at the home of her son andd aughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Jacobs. . The family of John Conway joined in a merry party Sunday honoring their father on Father's day. The affair was held at the home of Mrs. Conway's mother, Mrs. Eva T. Fage. A very pleasant day wass pent by the following group: Mr. and Mrs. Conway, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Larson of Orem, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Farmer of Salt Lake City, Bud Conway and Mrs. Eva Fage of this city, and Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Bateman of Alpine. |
