Show PI. Grove News Mary Harper entertained the members o'f the Variety club Friday Fri-day December 14. Nina -Hunter, Kuby Warnick, Eva Orton, Merl Amitstead, Maxine Price and the hostess busied themselves sewing, and making plans for the coming year. In the late afternoon a tasty lunch was served. Mr. mi Mrs. Henry C. Peterson of Chappell, Nebraska, were visitors visit-ors Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Martin Peterson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Orval Carter left Friday for Camp Roberts, Calif., whre they will visit with their son Leo, who has recently been confined to the hospital. Leo expects ex-pects to return with them for a fifteen day furlough. The Second ward Primary officers offi-cers and teachers met at the home of Ethel Allen Monday night for their annual Christmas party and to prepare the stoskings Tor Santa to give the children Tuesday at Primary.
