Show SECOND WARD SCOUTS RECEIVE MERIT BADGES In connection with sacrament meeting in the Second ward Sunday Sun-day a number of boy scouts received re-ceived badges and merit badges. Scout Master Ray Pulley was in charge. Tenderfot badges were presented by Assistant Scoutmaster Scoutmas-ter Ovid Jeppson to Darrel Fen-ton, Fen-ton, Vern Chipman, Grant and Paul Radmall Rex Fowles, Thomas Thom-as Baum and Robert Slater. Miniature Minia-ture badges were also given to the new scouts to pin on their mothers. Second class badge to Roy Nelson. Nel-son. One merit badge to Guymon Adams and two merit badges to Walter Adamson. , Glade Walker received his first class badge and one merit badge presented by Bishop Reed O. Walker. Walk-er. Mark Radmall received three merit badges First Aid, Public health and metal work, presented by his father. James Richards received the star scout badge and four merit badges presented by C. R. Clark. Ray Pulley scout master also received re-ceived his star scout badge and six merit badges, the presentation made by C. R. Clark. F. M Paulson, new Supt. of the Y. M. M. I. A. presented scout badges to C. R. Clark and Earl A. Beck. Mothers present to receive the miniature badges from their sons were Mrs. George McNees, Mrs. M. D. Rjadmall, Mrs. Frank Walker, Mrs. H. S. Richards, and Mrs. Pulley. Scoutmaster Pulley reports scouting progressing nicely in the Second ward and says twelve scouters are taking the First Aid class sponsored by the Red Cross. |
