Show WITH THE SERVICE MEN Pfc. Lynn Peterson of the U. S. Military Police, embarked this week for Italy with a convoy of Prisoners of war. Pfc. Peterson is the son of Mr. and Mrs.Wm. J. Peterson. His wife and young child live in Leh:. , Delbert J. Harris oi .alt Lake City visited here Saturday, with his mother Mrs. Margaret Harris and other relatives. Mr. Harris recently received his discharge from the army - upon his return from Italy where he was a sergeant ser-geant in the 12th Signl Service. Word has been received from Robert Harris, U. S. Navy, now stationed at Okinawa, that he has been made a petty officer Carpenters Carpen-ters mate 3rd -class with the U. S. Fleet. Marine. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. K. E. Harris. Stanley Walker writes his parents par-ents now from Manila, Phillipine Islands. Stanley has recently been advanced to Technical Sergeant at Headquarters Battery of the Area Command Base. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Wlalker. Pvt. Lynn J. Peck has received his discharge from the army and arrived home this week. His wife is Eileen Peterson Peck. They have three small children. Wm. L. Anderson is another Paciic veteran whq has been discharged dis-charged from the service, and arrived here Wednesday, to take up civilian life with his wjfe Lucile Luc-ile Jense Anderson and young son. Mr. Anderson, whose parents live at Heber has spent almost two years as a Pfc. with the Marine corps in the Pacific. |
