Show Funeral Service For School Girl Scheduled Sunday Oarla Varney, 12, daughter of Leo Varney and the late Lu Vie Smith Varney, died Wednesday morning at the Utah Valley Hospital Hos-pital in Provo, of a heart ailment. She had been ill for two months, from complications following the measles. She was born July 12, 1927, at American Fork. She attended the schools here, and would have been an Eighth grade student next year. She was active in the Junior Genealogical Gen-ealogical work, and in the Primary association. Oarla was known for her lovable disposition. - She was retiring in nature, na-ture, and had a very pleasing personality. per-sonality. Surviving are her father, her grandparents, Mr. ' and Mrs. George Varney of American Fork and Mr. and Mrs. James B. Smith of Alpine. Al-pine. Her mother died October 16, 1934. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:30 o'clock, in the Second Sec-ond ward chapel. Friends may call at the -Varney residence, 31 South First West street, Sunday, prior to the services. |
