Show PL Grove News ' The Pleasnt Grove Public Library Libr-ary will he closed on Monday, Sept. 6th, (Labor Day) Mrs. Florence Tolman and Miss Elda Mayhew were Salt Lake City vistors on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. King and young son Clark of Schofield, visited vis-ited for a few days this week with relatives here and in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Oral Wright had as her guests on Friday a group of close relatives who came to help celebrate cele-brate her birthday. They included her mother, Mrs. Pearl Wadley, Mrs. Nyal Wadley, Mrs. Wendall Keetch, of Pleasant Grove, and Mrs. L. B. Adamson of Lehi, Mrs. LaVere Wadley of American Fork and Mrs. Richard Stone of Provo. Mrs. H. E. Bradley entertained her bride club at her home here Wednesday evening. Preceding cards a delicious hot luncheon was served. Club mmebers present included in-cluded Mrs. Milo Bean, Mrs. W. L. Faddis. Mrs. Dwight Packard, Mrs. Walter Steffin. Mrs. Wm. Householder, Mrs. Claude Snyder, Mrs. Stanley Roberts, Mrs. Ed. Hall, and the hostess. Prizes of defense stamps were won bv Mrs. Packard and Mrs. Householder. |
