Show Home Aids Being Exhibited Here During the last week of National Na-tional Home Demonstration Month, special emphasis of Home Demonstration Work is being shown by exhibits in various communities. Utah Home Demonstration service is part of the State Agricultural Agri-cultural College Extension Service. Serv-ice. The purpose of the service is to render educational assistance assist-ance to women, girls, and their families in their own communities communi-ties and homes. The extension Service, which maintains an Agricultural Agent and Home Demonstration Agent in nearly every county in the state is sponsored cooperatively by the Federal Government, the State of Utah, and the counties. Assisting in the programs are, in addition to the County Agents, Subject matter specialists, faculty facul-ty members of the State Agricultural Agricul-tural College and the College Experiment Ex-periment Station, county planning plan-ning committees, and local volunteer volun-teer project leaders. Through the home demonstration demonstra-tion program, service is given along such lines as will help women wom-en to most efficiently and satisfactorily satis-factorily meet their home making mak-ing problems, including foods, nutrition, clothing, home management, man-agement, home planning, house, farmstead and community beau-tification, beau-tification, family health and eco- nomics of home and family. Exhibits of a few of these activities ac-tivities are being shown by the following local leaders in their communities: - Mrs. William Trinnaman Lehi. Mrs. A. G. Bromley American Fork. Mrs. Leo P. Harvey Pleasant Grove. ! A display arranged by Mrs. 'Trinnaman was viewed all this week in the window of Powers Shoe Store. The display shows many of the ways the home demonstration service can aid ihomemakers in her work. I |
