Two headline wrestling matches have been announced, Kenny Mnyne vs. The Masked Marvel, and Wildcat McCann vs. Pete Giacoma. In the boxing bouts on the card, Bill Boyer is pitted against Dennie Dennis, Tommle Davis against Mig Smith, and Basanta Singh against Pall Neil. In addition, to these headline head-line matches, Al Jorgensen the Clown Cop and his accordion, will furnish special entertainment. Wednesday's program will open with one of the best miniature parades seen in many years, with over fifty beautiful miniature floats, headed by Uncle Sam, and a color guard from the Pleasant Grove Post of the American Legion, Leg-ion, followed by the Pleasant Grove High School Band under the direction dir-ection of Irwin Jensen. At the head of the floats will be Miss Diana Harding, as "The Strawberry Queen", riding on the beautiful queen's float. The ' next important personage will be Miss Linda Boren, as Miss Pleasant Grove. She will no doubt head another section ofthe beautiful beaut-iful parade. Some fifty floats have been promised prom-ised for the .parade, and will include in-clude some of the most elaborate miniature floats ever made in this city. Strawberries, for which Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove has become famous, will be on sale this year at the city park at 15c per large dish, which includes cream and sugar. The committee reports that the booths will (be open from 10 a.m. to 1 ip,m, and from 4 to 9 p.m Half cases will also be on sale during the day. The state-wide horsepulling contests con-tests will take place at the old rodeo grounds at one o'clock, with entries from all parts of Utah. Horsepulling contests have be- come one of the outstanding entertainments enter-tainments at livestock shows and county fairs, and the committee in charge of this event now has entries from top winners at the Utah Junior Livestock Show at Spanish Fork this year, which guarantees that the spectators will see the best pulling teams of Utah. Another feture will be furnished by the Lehi Riding Club, which gives the crowd a real spectacular act. During the afternoon the boys and girls will be entertained -with a fine sports program at the high school campus, where prize money . will be given for various sports events This will be under the direction of Calvin Walker, recreation rec-reation director. At 6.30 p.m. the miniature parade par-ade will be repeated, with additional addit-ional bands added to the parade, which will give the patrons a real thrill as' they march by. The parade will form at the high school, then march north to Earl Beck's comer, west to Main street, thence south to the Roy Ash Service station and return to the high school on the secondary highway. The free entertainment at 730 pjn. at the high school campus will 'include a Softball game between be-tween the Pleasant Grove team and the best outside team that can be secured.
