Show VIKIIiG IS Editor 1 Evelyn Proctor j Ass't Editor Andy Johnson I OGDEN DEBATE MEET j Nine contestants from Pleasant ; Grove high entered the 11th an- i nual Weber College High School i Debate tournament, held March 7 and 8. No awards were brought back but a wonderful experience was enjoyed by all. The merits of socialized medcine was the subject of the debate, extemporaneous ex-temporaneous speeches dwelt on the subject of current problems and the Utah Centennial was the subjectfor oratory. Leaving Pleasant Grove at 7:30 on a school bus, contestants arrived arr-ived in Ogden for the first round of debate at 11:Q0. Orators found j their places in Weber College that evening at 8:00 o'clock. After two days of hurry and worry, anxiety and fun our bus rolled rol-led back to Pleasant Grove Saturday Satur-day afternoon. |
