Show Testimonial . Sand-i v For Kobert E. Walker A farewell testomonial, honoring Elder Robert E. Walker, will be conducted Sunday evening, March 23 in the Vinyard ward chapel at 7:30 p.m. priior to his departure for the LDS mission field. C. J. Cobbley of Pleasant Grove First ward will be among the speakers. Elder Walker, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Walker, formerly of Lindon, is a 1942 graduate of the Plcusarit drove, hig'r school and ' LDS Seminary. He attended the BYU for one year, after which he served 34 months in the U. S. maritime mar-itime service. As third mate he served in both oceans, Atlantic and Pacific. On April 7 he will enter the LDS mission school in Salt Lake City, and soon after will depart for the New England States mission to which he has been assigned. |
