Show j ADAMSON BEZZANT RECEPTION HELD WEDNESDAY Elegance and easy hospitality marked the wedding reception given Wednesday evening at the First ward Recreation Hall by Mr. and Mrs. Milton Adamson in honor of their daughter Mary Louise and Eugene S. Bezzant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Bezzant, also of this city. The bridal party stood at the north end of the hall against a background o'f palms, and baskets of delphinium over whk-ivjlighted tapers cast a soft glow.V Mr. and Mrs. Karl BanTis? greeted friends at the door, and Forrest Loader acted as usher. In the receiving re-ceiving line were the bride and groom, their parents, the brides grandmother, Mrs. Anne Flygare, mlatron of honor, Mrs. Virginia Loader, and bridesmaids Misses Kathleen Larson, Alta Mae King, Marilyn King, Emmeline Kirk and Geniel Cullimore. Little Dorothy Dor-othy Flygare was flower girl and Kenneth Paul AdanTn'Tye. formed the duties of best man. The bride was lovely in, a trailing gown of white silk marquisette, over sati, fashioned with ayoke of seeri pearls, with her fingertip veil held in place with a dainty tiara o'f seed pearls. She carried a bridal boquet of red roses centered with an, orchid. or-chid. Mrs. Loader was attired in yellow. Miss Larson in white, the Misses King in aqua blue, Miss Kirk chose nale pink and Miss Cullimore aqua blue, while the flower .girl was c'd in a dainty frock of white. All carried boquets of roses and sweetpeas. sweet-peas. Mrs. Adamson, Mrs. Bezzant and Mrs. Flygare pinned corsages o'f gardenias and carnations on their gowns. Kenneth Flygare, an uncle of the bride, acted as master of ceremonies, cere-monies, and cleverly introduced the program, which included, a vocal solo. God Gave Me You, by Loile Bailey, accompanied by Mrs. Bailey; Bail-ey; two vocal solos, Until, and Sunshine Sun-shine of Your Smile, by Warden P. Kirk, accompanied by Mrs. Kirk; A reading, Romieo and Juliet, by George Paul ; a piano solo, Miss Carol Clark; toast to the bride and groom, Miss Estelle Fenton; vocal trio, Sweet Mystery of Life, " by Mrs. Wendell Gillman, Miss Kathleen Kath-leen Larson and Miss Leah Jean Larson, accompanied by Miss Carol Clark. A vocal solo, Because, by Miss Kathleen Larson, accompanied by Mrs. Wendell Gillman; a vocal solo, Thine Alone, by Loile Bailey, accompanied by Mrs. Bailey, i Vmm R-sn until 9:30 Mrs. Elwood Sundberg and Irwin Jensen played organ music. Dancing, refreshments and viewing the lovely gift display completed the evenings entertain- ment. The gift display was presided over by Mrs. Byron Duke, Mrs. Wiliairi Flygare, Mrs. A. B. Gibson, Mrs. Kenneth Flygare and Mrs. A. T. Harding. Receiving gifts at the door were Alice and Barbara Hard- ing and Kenneth Adamson, brother 1 ' of the bride. J 1 Refreshments were serve.d in the Relief Society room, from a table j ' bearing for centerpiece, a beautiful j wedding cake, flanked by lighted tapers and sweetpeas. Miss Margie I Holdaway and Mrs. L. L. Larson poured from crystal bowls. Assist- ing were Mary Esklund, Merle McCausland and Pearl West. Young ladies who served were Misses La-I La-I Rue McCandlessr1 ' Doris Wadley, Evelyn Smith Carol Walker, Eleanor Sutton and Ann Alene Jacobs. The young couple were married earlier in the day in the Salt Lake Temple, with Elder J. Wlm. Knight officiating. They were accompanied by the brides parents. |
