West in Salt Lake City Mondav. Sergeant West was enroute from Kansas City to a new station and had only a short stop in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Mary Yancey has just received re-ceived word of the hirth of a new great grand-son at the Utah Valley Val-ley hospital. The little lad was born Tuesday to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Arnold. Mrs. Arnold before her mariage was Miss Geniel Kim-ber. Kim-ber. The Archie Boren family entertained enter-tained at an outdoor party one day this week complimentary to Glen Boren, who is spending a furlough here. The afffair was held in the cool shade of American Fork canyon, cany-on, where luncheon was served and out-of-door sports enjoyed. Those present were: Private and Mrs. Boren, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Boren. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Kirk. Mr. and Mrs. Lavell Boren. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Butt. Mr. and Mrs. Cless-en Cless-en Beulher, Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Swensen, and Lloyd Boren.
