Show American Fork Locals I Little Miss Lu Ann Barker of Taylorsville spent last week visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Lee. Mrs. Mary Orgill of Heber is visiting this week with her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. W. O. Nelson, and family. i Dick Wilde returned home last Friday after spending two months at Palo Alto, Calif., at the home of Dr. and Mrs. James Moffett. Mr. and Mrs. Leland May of Moran, Wyo., visited last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Larsen. Mr. V. Arthur Gordon returned to his home in Long Beach, Cal., on Tuesday after spending the past two weeks visiting here with relatives. Mrs. Gordon and baby will remain here for another anoth-er two weeks. Mrs. Dean L. Smith will leave Goldsboro, North Carolina, today to return home after spending several weeks with her husband. PFC. Smith, who is a technical mechanic in the air force, will finish his schooling at the Luke Johnson Air Field on the 29th of the month and expects to be transferred to another locality. Mrs. Leland Mitchell, Junior Mitchell and Miss Dot Mitchell attended the funeral services in Salt Lake City Thursday for their relative, Louis Hansen, an electrical technician in the air corps, who met his death while home on furlough. Mr. Orval S. Brown returned to his ranch at Gandy last Friday. Mrs. Brown is remaining in American Fork for the present. Mrs. Florence Palmer who was called here because of the illness ill-ness and death of her father, Marius Madsen, has returned to her home in Detroit, Mich. Mrs. Palmer made - a short visit to California with her sisters before be-fore returning. On Wednesday the girls from the Central office of the Utah-Idaho Utah-Idaho Sugar Company in Salt Lake City entertained Sgt. Meredith at a luncheon at the Hotel Utah. Mrs. Wesley Wood and children, chil-dren, Wayne and Billy, returned home this week after spending two weeks as guests at the home of Mrs. Wood's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William L. Larsen. Mrs. Francis Anderson and children, Marian and Phillip, spent Sunday visiting in Provo with Mrs. Anderson's mother, Mrs. C. H. Davies. - Mrs. Sterling Fox returned home Wednesday from a short trip to the Bay region in California. Cali-fornia. She visited with her husband who is stationed at Camp Park. Mrs. Harvey Hatch and wee daughter, Vicki Ann, returned home Sunday after spending the past two weeks in Duchesne with Mrs. Hatch's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William I. Case. |
