Common causes of egg loss include producing fertile rather than infertile infer-tile eggs, holding the min too warm a place; failing to gather and cool eggs properly; lack of moisture in the holding room; dirty eggs; unnecessary un-necessary breakage from rough handling and bad packing; and permitting per-mitting broody hens to set on eggs and ruin them. |
