Show 1 LONG DISTANCES Many mothers were made happy on Mother's day by receiving greetings greet-ings from sons and daughters from all parts of the country. On the first line we place Mrs. Pearl E. Dever-eaux, Dever-eaux, who received her greetings by telegram 'from her son, Vern, direct from Australia. Mrs. Ethel Fenton received a telephone tele-phone call on Mother's day from her son, Sergeant King B. Drysdale, of Fort Sill, Okla. Mrs. Archie Boren and Mrs. Maude Adamson received a telephone tele-phone call at the Boren home, expressing ex-pressing Mother's day" greetings from their son and daughter, Grant and Anna Boren Adamson of Benicia, CaL Russell T. Green called his mother, moth-er, Mrs. Maude Green from Yakima, Wash. Mrs. Laura Robertson, Mrs. Avis Smith, Mrs. Hannah Mathews, were among mothers who received flowers from Fort Lewis, Wash. |
