Mr. and Mrs. Grant Walker and children of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Fielding of Orem, and j Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Murdock and baby of Vineyard were Mother's day guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Walker. Sunday guests of Mi's. A. G. Armstrong Arm-strong on Sunday included Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Ensign and daughter Jo Ann and son H. P. Jr., Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Thompson and daughters daugh-ters Dorothy and Naomi of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Whimpey and Mrs. Conachie of Provo. Last, Friday the following group ' of people enjoyed the evening session ses-sion at the Salt Lake L D S temple : Mr. and Mrs. Ben Walker, Mrs. Jennie W. Johnson, Mrs. Alberta Walker, Mrs. Ruth Lovell, Mrs. Grace Fielding, Mrs. Blaine Johnson, John-son, Mr. Grant Walker, Mr. Lawrence Law-rence Walker, Mr. Leonard Walker, Mr. E. F. Walker, Mrs. Elisha May-hew, May-hew, and Mi-. Milton Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. V. N. West entertained enter-tained their family at dinner on Mother's day. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Bert Frampton and family of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. J. i L. Thorne and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ford West and children, Mr. and Mrs. V. N. West and Virgil West. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mitchell formed a jolly dinner party at the Mitchell home on Mother's day in honor of Mrs. Mitchell. Covers Cov-ers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Bry-ant Hicks and family, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Lee and daughter Gwen, Mr. 1 and Mrs. Merrill Fowles and two sons, Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Smith and baby of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hadfield and children of Lehi. Mrs. H. W. Jacobs was a guest of the Fine Arts club of the BYU on Friday last, when club members entertained in honor of their mothers. moth-ers. Mrs. Jacobs was the special guest of her sister-in-law, Mrs. J. R. Halliday at whose home the pleasant affair took place. The ladies were entertained with reading read-ing of poems of Utah poets and music was furnished by a string quartet, and vocal numbers, from the BYU music department. Luncheon was served and the guests were presented with dainty handkerchiefs. |
