Robertson and Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Thorne, will leave Friday for Boulder Dam and points of interest in California. At Oakland they will visit with Mrs. Thome's sisters, at Los An-peles An-peles with Mrs. Robertson's brother Howard .Peterson and family and at Hollywood with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Robertson and other friends. Bishop and Mrs. AlRoy Gillman and son Larry returned Tuesday from a trip through the canyons of Southern Utah. At Panguitch, they were joined by Otho LeFevre, a former missionary campanion, and Mrs. LeFevre, who made the trip with them through Bryce and Zions Canyons, Cedar Breaks, and other points of interest. The Bishop ad his family report a wonderful though short vacation. Mr. J. H. Adams, accompanied by Dr. and Mrs. G. S. Riichards of American Fork, motored to Salt Lake Sunday to visit with George B. Margetts, who was celebrating his 87th birthday. His daughters, Mrs. Amelia Croft and Mrs. Ethel Tracy held open house for him at the Croft home' on Douglas street. Many of the old folks of Pleasant Grove will rememiber Mr. Mar.getts as he served on the entertainment committee of the Old Folks for many years. |
