Show Funeral Services Conducted For Dianne Hillman Very impressive and touching funeral services were conducted Wiednesday aKemoon for Dianne Hillman, S, who died Sunday evening even-ing in the American Fork hospital. The service was held in the Second Ward Chapel with Ernest P. Smith of the Ward Bishopric in charge. Invocation was offered by former Eishop C. R. Clark. Mrs. Mary Neves read the Psalm with musical accompaniment played play-ed by Miss Jennie Gleason. First speaker was Mrs. Vera Wlagstaff, Dianne's teacher at the Central school. A ipoeni to Dianne, written by her father, was read by Mrs. Jean Smith Reid. A vocal solo, I'm in Heaven when I see You Smile, was sung by Bonnie Ackenman. Ray S. Merrill of the Timpanogas Stake Presidency, also the principal prin-cipal of the Central school, was the next speaker, and gave fine thoughts on faith and hope in the eternal plan of life. Miss Jennie Gleason played an organ solo, Lead Kindly Light. Bishop Reed O. Walker spoke feelingly to the bereaved family and told of biussings that come from sacrifice Closing remarks were made by Ernest P. Smith, close friend and intimate associate of the family. Prelude and portlude music was played by Jennie Gleason. Benediction was pronounced by President Vilace R-admall and the grave in the Pleasant Grove City cemletery was dedicated by George Oheever of Payson, Dianne's grandfather. grand-father. Flowers were cared for and arranged by primary officers and girls from Dianne's primary class. Pallbearers were Merlin Allred, Tommy Hillman, Lynn, Paulson, David Richards, Grant Radmall, and Paul Radmall. Dianne, a daughter of Guy and Rose Hillman, was born March 28, 1938, in Payson. At the time of her death she was a student in the third grade of Pleasant Grove Central Cen-tral school. She is survived by her parents, one sister, Jean, age 4 of Pleasant-Grove; Pleasant-Grove; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Oheever and one great-g:-andniother, Mrs. Rose Ellen Braithwaite , all of Payson. |
