School lunches are being served daily to an average of 425 children. Equipment for 300 was purchased this year by the organization and with the aid of the W. P. A. the project is made possible. ' The programs have been well attended at-tended and have proved inspirational inspiration-al aad instructive u vaU. The Parent-Teacher Association is having a splendid influence for good in the field of education. The workers of our organization recognize recog-nize the opportunity they have of cooperating with the schools in molding the characters of our children chil-dren and are rendering a wonderful service. Someone has wisely said, "Service is the rent you pay for the space you occupy" and no group has been more willing to serve than has the P.-T. A. Quoting from the creed of the P.-T. A. "and so we believe in the P.-T. A., not as an organization organiza-tion of parents created to supplement supple-ment the school in a task beyond it; not as an organization of teachers teach-ers created to lessen their load; but as an organization of parents and teachers created by these in the interests in-terests of their most priceless possession, pos-session, the child." May the holidays bring Joy and satisfaction to each and everyone. Sincerely, A. r. P.-T. A. OfflcwB. |
