Show Missionaries Tell Of Labors Among Japanese Those who attended the entertaining enter-taining program presented by Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Robertson of Provo, at the Manila ward sacrament services serv-ices Sunday evening were given art interesting glimpse of Japanese life in Hawaii. Mr. Robertson told of the unusual and admirable traits of the Japanese people as he came to know them through his work with them as president pres-ident of the Japanese mission in Hawaii. He stressed their faith and amiability, and gave many instances of his association with them that had proved to be faith-promoting. Mrs. Robertson described the manners and customs of this little known people. A fine musical program was presented pre-sented by the Timpanogos stake ladies trio directed by Irwin Jensen and including Mrs. Genevieve Wright, Mrs. Berniece Christensen, Mrs. Lydia Hilton, Mrs. Oncta Day, Mrs. Leone Told, Mrs. Bca Stokes, Miss Estelle Fenton, Mrs. Alta Walker Walk-er and Mrs. Viola Beers. The accompanist ac-companist was Mrs. Jennie Glcason. ' The program was arranged by Merrill N. Warnick. n |
