Show Success Marks Red Cross Drive In Timp Stake The Red Cross membership drive in the Pleasant Grove district came to a most gratifying close on December De-cember 15, according to Thomas Walker, district chairman, who announced an-nounced that whereas the quota apportioned ap-portioned to this district was 150 memberships, a total of 168 were sold. The following ward chairmen re- I ported for their wards: First ward, Tom Larson turned in 28 memberships member-ships and a total collection of $32.90; Harold Smith, Second ward, 40 memberships, $45 total; Harold Walker Third ward, 32 memberships, $34 total; Robert Morton, Lindon 30 memberships, $33.05 total; Ezra Swenson Manila, 22 memberships, $22 total. Of the $203.20 collected, $36 was contributed by business houses and was not credited to any one ward. This included $16 memberships. It is expected that a small sum will be added to some of the wards when some promised contributions are reported. |
