Show ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BAND CONCERT TO BE GIVEN Under the direction of Ford M. PouLson, the High School band will give a concert Wednesday, December Decem-ber 19th at the High School Auditorium. Audi-torium. The program will consist of the following' band numbers: ."School Band Favorite," "Tire First 'Band Practice," "Operatic Mingle," .popular numbers and Home Sweet Home, the world over, played in j England, Germany, Spain, Russia, Italy, Scotland, Hungary, China, j Ireland and America- In this number num-ber the band will be assisted by .Ruth Peterson, Arvilla Clark and I members of the Spanish class, j Other numbers to be interspersed in the program are: A reading, "The Song of the Christmas Angel," by Maxine Walker; vocal duet by Ie. R. Mrs. Alex Thornton entertained at a family dinner on Thanksgiving, j : Tire guests were, Mr. and Mrs. Rollo Thornton and daughter, Luana, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Larson and' family and Mrs. Rose S. Vance of Salt Lake City. Miss Margaret Marrolt entertained entertain-ed at a hot supper Saturday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ford M. Poulson in honor of Niels Fugal who will leave soon for the Eastern States mission. Those present were: Jennie Burch, Louise Christiansen, I George Nielson, Bryan Fugal and the guest of honor. Dr. Frank R. Frampton who has: been with the Merchant Marine hos- pital boat at Nome, Alaska, since! last April, landed in San Francisco . Friday noon. He was expected to arrive ar-rive in Utah Monday. His wife who has been with her parents in Spanish Span-ish Fork, went to Salt Lake to meet him. Dr. and Mrs. Frampton will visit with Utah relatives before Dr. Frampton locates permanently. A shower was given in honor of Mrs. Lynn Richardson Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Richardson. Tire guests " included. Mrs. Arvilla Smith, Mrs. Jess Lewder, Lew-der, Mrs. Esther York.
