Show Highland News Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Adamson and children, Karl and Af ton, and Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Nash motored to Draper Sunday, where they were the guests at a turkey dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold G. j Adamson. Virgil Adamson who had been visiting with his brother since Christmas day, returned home with them. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hall at dinner New Year's day were, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Hall of American Fork, and Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Roberts Rob-erts of Denton, Kansas, Mr. Marion L. Hall of Washaugal, Washington, was a guest at the Hall home Thursday Thurs-day of last week. Miss Lue Groesbeck, who is attending at-tending school at the B. Y. U., and Miss Norma Adamson,. who is employed em-ployed at Salt Lake City, spent the holiday's1 here with their folk. The Highland ward Primary children child-ren were entertained Saturday at a dancing party in place of their regular reg-ular meeting. Pop-corn balls were given as a special treat. Maurice Larson of Fielding, is here visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig M. Larson. Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Nash entertained enter-tained at a social at their home Saturday evening. A delicious hot chicken supper was served to eight "guests. Games and dancing were enjoyed. Elden Strasburg, the 6 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Strasburg, has been confined to his home suffering suf-fering with rheumatism. At the latest reports he .was much improved. improv-ed. Guests of Mrs. John Barkdull on New Year's day were, Mrs. Barkdull's daughter Grace, and husband and baby of Lindon. Mr!' and Mrs. Oscar Hall visited at Sandy Friday, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Hall and family. Miss Imogine Neff entertained at a party Friday evening for a number of her friends. Yuletide decorations and a beautifully lighted tree added add-ed much to the holiday spirit. A delicious lunch was served and games were enjoyed. Those present were: Beth Wight, Edna Bowen, Re-va Re-va Myers, Donald Strasburg, Del-bert Del-bert Healey, Clayton O. Hall, Keith Adamson, Orson Hyde and Earl Crane. Miss Beth Wight entertained at a candy pull Wednesday evening, December De-cember 27th. A number of her friends were present. r |
