Show City Officials Adopt Budget for 1935 i I ; The council met in a special ses-I sion at 7:30 p. m. in the Council rooms. Roll call showed the mayor, three councilmen and the recorder present. Air. Walker and Mr. Adam-son Adam-son were excused. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and adapt the 1935 budget which was drawn up at a regular! meeting held December 15, 1934, a copy cf which has been on file at the. recorder's office. After discussing! at length, Mr. Walker movad that we accept and adopt the 1935 bud-! get as read, the total being $15,939.34. j Air. Loader seconded the motion which carried. Air. Walker moved that the re-j corder be instructed to write the; Equitable Adjustment Bureau and notify them that our records show Caldwell, Richards & Hall, engineer's for the city waterworks settling tank, have been paid $250.00. We understood under-stood tills to be full payment, but if evidence can be furnished that same ;hasnot been paid in full we will be glad to settle the account. ! Mr. Walker moved that the Irrigation Irriga-tion committee and the recorder in-jvestigate in-jvestigate the water stock of the Carl iDickerson Estate to determine whether or not the one half share ' not on the schedule should be auth- orized. The motion was seconded by Mr. Johnson and carried. It was moved and seconded that we adjourn. |
